La Belle Etoile Cotton French Puff Dress

This antique French print from the 1800's is the perfect compliment to this romantic country dress. The French puff fits just like the short cotton puff but with a midi length and large finishing ruffle hem. Inspired by barefoot memories in the south of France at Selkie founder's Grandmother's 1980s local pub and restaurant (the restaurant named "La Belle Etoile" meaning the beautiful star) which has since closed, holding chickens and walking to the pool down the street, the French puff is made for daytime leisure and pleasure. The Claudia collection comes trimmed with delicate lace on the bust and sleeves.

It is cool to the touch, sturdy cotton to hold its puff shape, and a tight corset style bust. The skirt is circular allowing for any size stomach, butt and hips.
